The iphone plan from maxis very EXPENSIVE at all...
every month pay 100 to 200 for 24 months still need to pay 1+++ to 2+++ to buy the phone...

I've cal maxis just now . Bout the i value 100 , they count like tis . Rm 50 for cal Rm 50 for Data(include sms)
So 1 month u have 333 minute + 500 mb usage = Rm50/333 = RM0.15 per/min , Another Rm50 for Sms = RM0.10 per/sms or Data Rm0.01 per/kb
Let say u make 343 minute per month with out any sms or internet , u need to pay RM 50 + Rm50 + (10 minute X RM0.15) = Rm101.5
If 500 mb is not enough u can add unlimited plan RM99 as usual price . There's a funny question i ask the CS , if i add the unlimited plan then i got

It's so expensive and to me, no point getting it from Maxis. I rather spent my time to do some survey on 'garage sales' and definitely will get cheaper!

oh......... finally came after 1 year of discussion on this topic.... but i already bought it from our neighbour with 2k for 8gb, quite satisfied with it. no regret even now i heard on maxis will launch.... since the price also not so attractive and need to tied up with the contract.

compare to USD$199 (8) and USD$299(16)

LET SAY USD$300 convert to RM
300 * 4 = rm1200

i think the cost of contract of 12 and 24 months contract is difference by RM198.

it is just one start off with either RM1510 or RM1900.

this scenario is applicable if only u are to be maxis customer next 12 mths under value 50 calculation.

nice calculation there. hope maxis will come out something like celcom's 50 executive plan. got discount up to 30%. if got such plan in maxis, then only i will switch to maxis and maybe buy the iphone from maxis. but for the time being, i'll stick with celcom with oversea's unlock iphone

think bout the value of d phone after 24months / 12months of usage n suddenly there's sumthin cooler - sleeker phone is out on d market. how much can u let it go by then..yer still in contract with the not so stunningly amazing iPhone, yer stuck it with. just saying, contract with sumthing dat is rapidly evolving is not a good idea for me, might wanna change / trade in for other phones in d future..no ?

And even you are Okay with the Maxis rate, please note that even with data bundle included in the monthly fee, its still rather expensive (compared to normal Value plan).
