i just got back from kansai yesterday. japan was good man. the food there is too expensive lol. 650 yen for a standard ramen. me and my girl alone spent around 50k yen on 7 eleven and food and some random stuff. the tour package was damn boring. kepy visiting those shrines and parks.

we went overnight at . The first time i had a group shower naked. those bloody old hag kept splashing the hot spring water at each other. went to mount fuji the next day. tooday we only managed to got o station 1. =(

disney land was freaking boring. the rides were for children. literally no thrill at all.

we went to universal studio on the last day and got the express pass rather than lining up for 2 bloody hours every ride. had the most fun there =D and the dream ride roller coaster was damn good.

didnt grab anything from japan though. the tour package i took was bloody not shopping centered at all. did not go to shibuya harajuku and akhibara. worst of all i didnt managed to go to any major shopping arcade at all.

all in all. it was a damn fun trip =D except for the freaking quiet chirstmas in toyohashi.

You know, since a few Lowyatians will be visiting during Hanami ... we should try and organize a mini Hanami gathering of our own in one of the parks in Tokyo (super packed but that's part of the experience also right? ... hehehe... ). biggrin.gif If you guys are all keen - we can give this some thoughts and planning. wink.gif
Ahhh ... sorry to hear that you didn't get to visit all the shopping districts in Tokyo. Nonetheless, at least you managed to have fun! haha... I do agree Disneyland is catered more for kids and family outing style... did you see how many baby trams are there and how they're all lined up?

yea... there were loads of baby trams there. the most fun one was the disneyland 25th anniversary road show. had to sit on the crazy cold street for 30 minutes. zzzz japanese are crazily patient. they don't mind lining up 1-2 hours for every ride. how i wish there were express pass for disney land haha
