Its pretty much the same as applying visa for students ... This is what I see ...

Also check for health ... Criminal record ... And Degree/Diploma ...

Well...To me ... Still got 3 years before going to Japan . So just relax for a while first . Haha ...

Can I bring my Australia / Animation course Degree to Japan to ask for an employment in the animation company ? Or I have to re-learn everything in the animation institute ?

Hmm...Im a good boy ... So about my image...Should be ok ... I can guarantee it . Im a smooth talker ... Haha ... Just the degree la ...

My friend said that the uni that I graduated from also will be taken into consideration . Family background ?

Furthermore...Like you said ... Anime is becoming the heart of Japan ... Sure alot of company ... Need more people to mass product animes in order for income bla bla ... So...I think that its quite competitive and at the same time , Not that hard to find job for it . Like you said ... Positions may vary

Maybe a Jap dude work as a illutrator and maybe me in the character design ? Hard to say ...

The Anime demands is now getting more and more ... Even the company can't produce so many ... They might need more workforce.

Yea...Just gotta try ... There are alot of companies in Japan ... Gotta work slowly to build up experience ... Then eventually big companies will recruit ... So gotta be patience . Haha ... Experience is more important than a newly graduated degree / PHD holder .

Firedauz , Tanoshi ... you got any friends are in this stream ? Can gather some info for me about the requirement if you can ? If you can't then its okay ... Im only wondering about this : Do I have to restudy in an Animation Company in Tokyo or anywhere in Japan in order to fufill the requirements or I can apply using my Degree from Australia to apply for it . Cause If I gotta re-study everything even if I got my degree ... Pointless if I study my degree there . Might as well make up my mind and go Japan for my degree . If you get what I mean ...

Tanoshi...Refer to my previous post ... I added something .

Yea ...Thats risky ... But how do I get an offer ? Its like ... Australia and Japan is soo far out . Can I like ... Write in an email or anything to the company and ask for an interview or anything ? This looks hard...Anime company don't usually hang out banners or post in d newspaper saying that they are recruiting right ?

I just gotta walk in myself or email them right ?

Hmm...Cannot interview while still got a job at other place right ? Do you think I shud stay in Australia to work for few years to gain experience or half work half find job in Japan ? Haha ... Im not a Form 4 student ...

I think Email / Calling them for an interview is possible .

Every job ... Gotta take risk ... Gotta try and try and try ...

It all depends on the company is it ? I heard that we need at least Nihongo Kentei 2kyuu to study , work in Japan ? I will be studying my Year 11 next year in Australia ... Then 2 years in TAFE for Animation course . I could work or continue my degree in Curtin also ( I think I can get a job easier like this(Everywhere) ) or I can continue in Japan in an Animation institute ... Upon graduate...I can straight away find jobs and not worrying about not getting any job . I can even learn my japanese and animation at the same time ...

Btw...What do I get from an animation institute ? A Degree ? A Diploma ?

What do you think is suitable for me ?

Language requirement really depends on the company. Some do and some don't. Those that do will generally ask for at least a JPLT Level 2 based on a lot of the job requirements that I come across.

Curtin!? Haha.. cool! Curtin graduate here. wink.gif Anyway, IF you plan to work overseas, you'll need a degree at least because a diploma / certificate will not meet the minimum requirements. Of course, other professional certifications will be exceptional but the degree is like the entry requirement.
Ok thank you for your answers man ... It really clears alot of my mind . Can I learn my Japanese in High School / TAFE / UNI in Australia ? Since I'm going there for my high school next year ... my school offers Japanese Language . I'll be having my Diploma of Animation in TAFE then continue my Degree of Animation in Curtin . Then only consider to Tokyo to work in the field of animation . Is the degree of animation from Australia recognizable in Japan ?

From what I see in Yoyogi Animation Gakuin website ... They offers mostly Animation course which focus more onto the position itself whereas in Australia , The course that I study covers alot of them . This is where Im starting to get confuse . Those who study in Yoyogi will have a clear path of what they wanna cause the course there is like : Animation Production course / animator course / Character Designer course . Whereas in Tafe / uni ... I study MULTIMEDIA which covers alot in Animation . But which do I really focus in ? Its all depend on me ?

The duration of me learning animation in TAFE is the same as Yoyogi ... 2 years . The things that we learn is probably almost the same . Animation is considered as in MULTIMEDIA right ?

This will be what I will be studying in TAFE

Multimedia Cert III
Multimedia Cert IV
Diploma in Multimedia
Degree

If your curtin degree works ... I think its probably okay . Well...Im more intrested in Animation Production .

Just gotta make sure that I don't have to restudy everything about ANIMATION in the animation institute even though I got my degree in Multimedia . I have give you the course that I will be studying ... Its all related to Animation ... Only its not focus on a specified area ... It covers alot of place . I think that this also might help me to get a job easier .

In My Humble Opinion.

If it's possible, I think it's actually better to continue your studies here first rather than to complete your degree then look for a job here.
This gives 2 advantages-
1) You'll be more familiar with the animation industry since you're in it first hand.
2) You can start keeping an eye out for job opportunities or perhaps even your Uni will have job recommendations for you before you actually graduate.

In my case; it's a bit different as I actually got offered a job here from a Japanese company when I graduate. So, they became my proxy/sponsor for my work visa and everything else.
*
Yoyogi is actually a college right ? If I go there after my Diploma ... Which level will I be studying in ? UNIVERSITY ? But then if I go there , Do I have to learn my language or depends ? If I got my Japanese good while in Australia ... I can skip a year of Japanese learning ? This can be considered because my Australia visa is until my graduation in TAFE .

Kei-kunn ... What do you mean ? Specified explanation please ?

I think can work it out ... Diploma in Aus ( Multimedia ) ... Then go continue my U in Tokyo ( Multimedia ) ...Just as you said ... Looking for a job won't be that risky too ... In case of rejection ... Don't have to go back to my own place ... Can slowly find job while studying . This gives me alot of advantage ... I can also get a better grip in Japanese too . University usually offers job to those graduates ...

Just one thing ... I need to learn Japanese for a year there ? Just like everyone does before continue studying their main course . Can I be excuse if I know good Japanese and can write ?

For me ... I think its better for me to have a degree ... As long as I got my diploma...I can go for a degree ? If I got my Diploma and wanna continue my degree there ... Im considered as undergraduate or post graduate ?

Tanoshi...This is most probably my last question ... Since others are cleared ... Thanks to you guys =)
