QUOTE(derrickflc @ Jul 11 2008, 06:17 PM) hope you guys realise that there's a Malaysian iTunes store now, accessible from the Country dropdown at the bottom of the iTunes store page. limited to the App Store at the moment, but it accepts MALAYSIAN-issued credit cards! now that's something to smile about. Before you get your hopes up, the iTunes store is most probably done to facilitate the iPod Touch here and to enable Malaysian owners to get Apps for their Touches. I'd rather be the stubborn pessimist than a gullible hopeful. The moment the Malaysian iTunes store starts offering purchases beyond Apps is the time when you will see Malaysia getting its own iPhone and iPhone activation. Typical for things around here to go on its accustomed pace: sloth-like slow.

Did you even read the requirements of those Apps you downloaded?

Just posted on Gizmodo, Firmware 2.0 is now available on iTunes itself. Pre-download it and WAIT until the unlock is made available. EDIt:Funny, still says 1.1.4 as the latest. Even a couple of Gizmodo posters from NYC still not getting 2.0. Did Apple withdraw it again? Added on July 11, 2008, 7:37 pmQUOTE(mamet @ Jul 11 2008, 07:31 PM) so when i plugged iphone.. does itunes automaticcally 'insert' those apps?? Until we get an unlock for 2.0. or someone with a legit contract-planned 3G iPhone uses it on iTunes to get the Apps onto their iPhones, we wont know. If it is anything like the iPod games, you'd have to select the Apps with checkmarks on the App tab, possibly. This post has been edited by stringfellow: Jul 11 2008, 08:28 PM

Good news ,I guess. But can the Installer apps from 1.1.4 work on jailbroken 2.0?

Are you willing to lose all Installer apps, for 2.0? Not all the apps are ported over to run on 2.0.Unless all you want is the AppStore apps lah.
