oooOOO... but dont get tricked... it is not as easy as it looks... i've done it... but dunno postmoterm success or not coz cant test where its a bricked iphone... but it fit well after installation tho heheheee... im looking for the black back panel and black LCD ring actually...

After a search, there is a black backplate... but it looks shiny.. anybody ever saw the matte one?

Yeah ... I've followed their guide to open the back cover. Its not a help at all. Its harder than it looks. I end up ruining the ipod opener (the green plastic thingy) but lastly manage to open it up.

BTW ... ifixit doesn't ship to malaysia.

yeah.. i saw that the black cover is the hardest to dismantle due to 4 "snap"

The black cover comes off easily, its the *&%^$ aluminum cover. If not careful, you'll leave a stress mark all over it.

BTW ifixit will host a live dismantling of the new iphone 3G. They flew all the way to NZ just to be the first to dismantle that thing. Tune in to ifixit on friday night 12.01 am NZ time. NZ will be the first country to get iPhone 3G thats why.
