anyone been to famitoy lately? Do they have any old SD gundams there?

hmm... i'm looking for Seed SD Gundams Aegis and Duel only...

Got some questions...

a) Up until now I only gunpla SD kits. I'm thinking of moving up. Should i start with MG? I find the 1/144s too small for my liking.
b) I paint with Gundam markers and the odd acrylic pot. Want to move up to airbrushing - any recommended airbrushes? Also, I prefer water based paints (acrylics) - less smelly, but can these be used with an airbursh?

Thanks all for the replies. Btw, why is lacquer more suitable to airbrushing? Acrylics don't stick or does it 'crack' when airbrushed?

I am currently working on restoring a 20 year old (feet says 1989 ) SD kampher i got as a kid. Will post up some pics when i'm done and then you'll see what oversized weapons really mean

Also saw a ~20cm Sazabi in the Lik Tak shop that was metalic in colour. I wantsss...

The kit cost RM460 That's expensive seeing that it is a MG init? And it comes chromed right, so how do you get rid of the nip marks and the seam lines?

Talking of metalic, someone here uses special stickers for the eyes and ports right, those that look 'deep'. Where to get these and do you need to 'cut' them to size?
What about decal stickers? I need to replace some for my kampher, are there specific decal sheets?

Talking about transparent, was wondering if they ever released a transparent blitz - something like the Sima Yi Sazabi SD? Would be fun to paint half or 2/3s of it - get that mirage colloid cloaking effect

Paint the base chrome silver and then spray on a fine layer of flouro green? Tried to do it with gundam markers, but the flouro green bit looks uneven. Should be much better with an airbrush?

mr hobby paints need to use thinner right. How's the smell? Do you guys use a paint box?

the tamiya ones only got basic set meh? which ab do you guys recommend anyways? the ones from art shop also can right?

If uncut on runners won't it be simpler to buy spray cans and spray the whole thingy? And let it hang outside to dry?

Hmm... true true. My bad... eh, so jim needs to cut them out and then spray all over with white spray can right? As he does not want to do shading?
Btw, i find white a total pain to hand paint

Instead on concentrating on shooting Strike Freedom down, the Zaku's busy trying to tell Kira that the Freedom KO because he was careless

A GM pawn is brave enough to take on Strike Freedom, and unfortunately the traffic is pretty much one way now
