Hey all brothers in WoW?

I have just got my copy of WoW in Australia(I study here), and I am trying to get into Europe servers where some of my British friends play.
But all I am getting to choose is USA or Oceanic.
Is there anyway to make Europe server available to me? Or is it the CD?

Really wish to play it soon, as I tried the 10 days trial and it was great, now suddenly got restricted because of the servers.

Please help!
Thanks. wink.gif biggrin.gif

wrong, you just need to change the address of the login server in the serverlist file. the cd key part is correct though, u need to buy one specifically for the eu servers

You can sell the old CD-key to whoever that wants it.

They can borrow the game from a friend or download it online. The key is not lock to the game installation but to the game account.

Too bad I have already used the Authentication Key to create an account under my username, but no character or realms has been choosen yet, so it's basically an empty account, you think anyone will buy that?
And it's upgraded to Burning Crusade aswell.

I have sent 2 e-mails to billing@blizzard.com since 2 days ago, and I have yet to receive any reply from them, is that normal?

Dear sir/madam,

I've tried the trial version and liked WoW, and just got myself a box of WoW : Battle Chest from Australia yesterday, where I am located.
Another reason I'm interested in the game is, I have friends from Britain that plays in Europe servers and I'd really like to play with them.
But after I've install the games and updates, which took me hours, and finally find out that I am not able to join Europe servers due to different CD-Key or something as stated in forums.
I have my friends from Britain to ticket a GM in game, and the solution he gave was to e-mail Account and Billing and try to ask for a account transfer.
A few solutions from some other friends was, to purchase a Europe CD/Authentication-Key and such, which I think is not fair to me as I already bought it, and the CD-Key I got is already used for account creation and such.
For your information, account has been created, but no characters on it yet.

So sir, is there any chance Blizzard can help me out on that? Without me buying another CD or CD-Key again.

Thank you and really hope to hear from you soon!

Regards,
Dennis.

By the way, where can I get a Euro Key?
I need both WoW and Burning Crusade's Key, right?
How much that normally cost?

I just bought the EU Key all over again from an Internet site, finally I can get on it.
Is the price per month for EU more than US? It's like £17 a month there. =/

And how much you guys think my old US account should be sell for? Am I allowed to sell it?

I pay £8.99 a month for my subscription. I'll link the page below.

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/requirements/subscription.html

Due to the exchange rate, it's probably slightly more than the US subscription but more worth it because i don't have to play with Americans.

My experience connecting from msia to EU server was pretty bad, 1200-1400ms most of the times.

My connection at that time was not that good but still...

My realm is Darksorrow which seems to be populated by finns, swedes and dutch. Anyway latency depends a lot on IP ranges and it's just screwy sometimes but these days its between 400ms and 550ms.

Long duration payment = less option to quit spontaneous.

I'd have to say the game is fun after few days playing it, but the leveling is quite hard if I don't do quests. tongue.gif I'll have to depend on quests to level up.
The connection isn't too bad for me from Australia, no lag so far, unless my sister have the downloads going on.
I'm in Eonar anyway, as a mage.
It's hard to take up more than one monster, is that normal?
I have to hide and shoot one of them from far and then keep going going going, until it reaches infront of me, and goes down.
But then if a monster come from my back, I am screwed.

smile.gif As for taking multiple mobs, it can be done provided that u know how to play the class well and wearing good gear.
