My opinion is based on branding. Although the GT-R is faster, bla bla bla than the Porsche 911 Turbo, I'd still take the 911 since I like the marque better as it feels more prestigious. Since not everyone (average car Joes and Janes) knows about the mighty GT-R, I don't wanna have to explain to them that its faster than the 911 around the Nurburgring etc.
