go for c2d rig in future if u got enough of budget
else, get any am2 system will do.
cos pentium D is a high temp processor.

haha, cos he say plan to upgrate his MB. so i suggest to get a socket 775 or am2+ MB. then processor definitely have to get new 1 lo. orther than that like hdd n ram can still be used.
