Unlike some other freebies, with 000webhost you can upload ZIP files as well.
I am their happy customer because two of my paid domains pointed to 000webhost free web space. One email address is entitled to one website only, so I used two email address for two websites. (Must use gmail or outlook, no yahoo email address allowed)

There will be a small banner (watermark) at the right bottom of your website. And yeah, you can create FTP account too so that you can upload files using Windows Explorer or FTP client conveniently.
