tried guitar collection? not sure bout it but im guessing they are the distributor for martin now? afaik, the mia ones are not available for testing and not displayed in midvalley, those are inside the hardcase with chain, locks and everything, near the door at the entrance.
*
yeah, went there and I tested out one guitar only. Damn, the sales person damn celaka, see me using slippers think I'm some low class peasant.

Anyway went to Mahogany to try my luck and they only had a D-28 and they are selling it for like RM12k++
WTF, it's only USD2.2k at guitar center US. Siao wan. Next time when I go to US again, I better bring my bro and father along so that they can carry 2 more guitars for me hehe.

Purchasing guitars in Malaysia is completely unjustifiable unless you're damn rich or you're only buying a mid-low range guitar.

Should be around the same price as the Razorback 255.......
MSRP:$1,689 w/ Dean hardshell case

MSRP is usually reduced a few hundred bucks for street price.
*
No way it's that cheap. I think all singature models are made in US.

blacktrix, have you tested an ML? How does it compare to a razorback?

Haha, i tought you were talking about Seagul from UG. But wow, thats a cool collection. Yea lah, he's so rich, don't know why though. tongue.gif

I think the cheapest guitar there is easily worth USD 50k and the 38' D-28 is at least USD 500k shocking.gif

Do you guys know which shop is best to sell my guitars? Not to brag, but some can be quite expensive smile.gif

I've given up on selling online in forums and stuff. All the lowballers T.T

Thanks blacktrix!

Besides tonezone studios, what other options do I have?

ok, that Heafy guitar couldn't be USD1200...too good to be true because there are only 22 of them in this world and that guitar is epic. Should cost at least about USD5k.

I better go ebay now and big for it lol...

Deans headstock looks very susceptible to damage. So big!! You're bound to hit it on something lol D:
*
The big and angled headstock actually contributes to the tone, that's what the guitarcenter dude told me.

those sharp pointy little designs on the razorbacks are like 'calling' for a knock to chip them off... that's the first impression I got that's why if I want to get a Dean, I'll most probably get an ML.

blacktrix,
I seriously doubt whether that Heafy White/Gold Razorback is genuine. The no. seems tampered and as far as I know, there were no new replicas of that model ever since late 2005 if I've not mistaken.

However, if it's really a real deal, even USD4k is cheap. I've been eyeing that razorback for like years after seeing Heafy using it for Rock Am Ring LOL... I definitely prefer this over his Rising Sun ML.

the gold/white razorback is a limited run of 22 and it's made in USA Dean's Custom shop and it's freaking expensive around $5k+++

That's why I'm suspicious of the 2007 model appearing in ebay...must be a fake

I think it's a fake, because only 22 were made around 2004 and 2005.

but USD 3k for a Koeran Dean? For me, I'd rather go traditional with a AAAA flame LP Supreme, Gibson of course biggrin.gif

then definitely it differs from the USA Custom shop that Matt Heafy originally uses because that one is ebony fretboard.

but rosewood fretboard sounds fine too.

How many models that website is selling?
