QUOTE(IpohBoY @ Nov 20 2008, 07:10 PM) I have effing sweaty hands.(Yea, those unstoppable and uncontrollable sweating syndrome on my palm). This makes me when I go jamming with my friends, I cant bend the string to the desired tone and worst, my strings will go rusty in no time. Any polish or liquid thing that I can purchase for this purpose to keep my strings in well condition? have you tried fast fret? |

just play the octaves with your first finger on the root note and pinky on the octave, using your first finger to mute the 4th string... for the notes being on the same fret you can either barre it if you're plucking the notes or change your finger positioning if you're using a pick

ok so im finally getting a new guitar to down tune to D
thing is, im currently using d addario 10-52 for standard tuning/drop D tuning and i want roughly the same feel of the strings when i downtune to D/drop C. anybody knows what gauge would come closest to that? i think 11-56 would be great but those aren't common at all so its either 11-52 or 12-54 never tried 12's on a drop tuned guitar before, so i have no idea if it would be hard to bend or not. need some otai help here  |

i find the alexi 200's fretboard a bit wider than my ax-50 so the strings are a bit further apart. surprisingly comfortable to play standing up and sitting down(huge thumbs up) but the pickup definitely needs a change. will probably get a used EMG81, haven't heard the blackout in person yet
and it was $800 from davis. was hoping for 500-600 |

the KK sig looks much better than the ZV to me
but yeah, the dot inlays does make it look cheap |
