If I remembered correctly, should be RM550 for the GCB-95. It's an excellent wah and I still use it for funk or rock stuff, while my Wylde Wah is used for Metal riffs and solos.

Don Randall, the person that gave the name the "Fender Stratocaster", passed away....
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090112/ap_en_mu/obit_randall May the name forever echo in the hallways of rock. |

Congrats on your guitar mate! May the gods of Metal shine down upon you!
But a word of advice, don't use the trem too much. I tried one and INSTANTLY went out of tune when I did a dive bomb. Added on January 14, 2009, 10:56 pmOooooooooooooooooohhhhh........ freakfingers12, Toneport GX requires a Laptop. The module itself is just an interface between your instrument and your computer......all the modeling is done via the software.
If you want something that works like what you said, you should look at the Pocket Pod....... was quite tempted by that actually. |

Well, during the CK Sales, the older GX was quite decent priced..... like RM185 or something like that. It's now discontinued and replaced with the Toneport POD series.

I probably will have to say that this is the most brutal guitar I've seen so far....... even more brutal than anything in my collection!

Yup. The most brutal guitar in my collection so far:
I changed the strings to the standard GHS Zakk Wylde set (.46-.10) with the wrap-around the tailpiece and it plays very well. Unplugged, it already sounds good, but unfortunately, the pickups isn't what I expected. Any suggestions on what pickups I should upgrade to? Right now, it's a little muddy and not as clear as I wanted it to be. I might be crazy enough to whack in P-90 in a humbucker casing (like the S.D. one)...... I run it through the Little Vox on the gnarliest gain settings, and it's quite good! For the Love Of God sounds quite good on this baby!
And yes, I'm trying to diversify my playing style..... maybe dip my toes into a little Jazz...... but mostly need a guitar that does clean REALLY well. Hmmmmmmm......... I wonder if I can add in EMG 81/81 inside....... |

Nah, the Elvis will come later. This was supposed to be my Christmas prezzie
Right now, considering a 7 or 8 string..... but the question is..... do I REALLY need that extra (or 2) string? |
