eventhough the rim in lightweight , but remember that the tire diameter is bigger and thicker ... so overall , total rim weight oso increase ... hence not very good for FC ...

QUOTE(asimo_xd @ Sep 15 2008, 09:41 PM) hi, I'm a new owner of a perodua viva 1.0 EZ. my car comes with 13" wheel while the full spec viva comes with a 14" sport rim. Er..i'm thinking of changing my one to 14" or 15" in the future but i need to know what are the pros and cons of using sport rim. use what ever brand u like ... Which size should i choose? Should i choose the lightweight rim or heavy/normal weight? i know heavy one will make my car become more fuel consumable but will the lightweight one makes my car become dangerous? i like Oz Ultraleggera and the Enkei FS-01 design type. Is it very expensive (together with tyres) and does it have 14"? Is there any other things that i should know sport rims? if the safety that ur concern , then invest on high quality tire .. bcos car runs on tire , if got OZ or ENKEI rim but on secondhand RM50 tire .. once tire boom ! explode ! thats it .. end story brand rim - alone cost ya at least RM2K above .. plus tire RM3K+ 14" ? nvr see it before QUOTE(cwd8769 @ Sep 15 2008, 09:44 PM) if got $$$ .. go ahead no one can stop u , but beware thief ! get those locknut or tire clamp or a good car alarm |

QUOTE(asimo_xd @ Sep 16 2008, 08:54 AM) hihi, sorry.. i think i miscommunication with you all. What i mean is the design... Does it have other brand like er..taiwan brand (which i hear is quite good and more affordable) with the same design as OZ and Enkei rim? I'm not sure about what i hear but i would like to know more in case i change my rims in the future. taiwan hv good imitation of OZ design including Ultraleggeraonly difference the sticker and wheel cap ... 99% almost same yupp seen them before , even for 14" size ... affordable too QUOTE(Seng_Kiat @ Sep 16 2008, 09:11 AM) which brand is better in terms of weight + strong? kspeed or lenso? i heard they say Lenso is stronger ... but donno ladont talk about japan which cause me a few thousand for rim alone .. |
