was wondering what is the different weight between original and imitations in say 16"? and how to spot the differences other than the weight? just to avoid buying an imitation when the sellers claim its original.

QUOTE(Seng_Kiat @ Sep 14 2008, 06:31 AM) let say i change to 16" rim and use the current spare tyre which is 15", is that ok if in case of emergency, i use 1 15" and the others are 16"? if its only emergency for a while i dun think there will be any problem as long u drive slow.

yea, the bigger the rim the heavier it is. anyway, how heavy should a 17" to be considered as ok? possible 4kg or perhaps 6kg?

i see... thx for the info too. wanted to buy a set but still got much to learn. hopefully wont be a sucker for pretty heavy rims. maybe considering 16", more balance. cos bigger rims kinda give uncomfortable bumpy ride.
and yes cwd8769, if the weights are same, then wont hav much diff other than the 'little' drag if not mistaken.
