QUOTE(mADmAN @ Dec 15 2008, 02:43 PM) hassle to carry...not really la....just put in the back seat or in the boot or watever la.... yarr...agree with u..i also spent almost 4-5hours to find the rim that i really2 want..1st go to klang, with all the sucks traffic jamm there,go for more than 5 shop but didnt found any of it..lastly go to sunway and found it eventhough the price is chop head..but really2 satisfied with it.. as for pricing...yeah usually will be cheaper... but if u REALLY want specific tires with specific rims... do u really have a choice? in my case... i drove for 5 hours 1 way alone just to get the rims i wanted.... then another day went to dunno how many shops looking for tires.... in the end i got wat i wanted and it was totally worth it. |

QUOTE(wackyflik @ Dec 17 2008, 01:15 AM) just looking some opinions. feel free to advice me. this is my first time buying a car. i ordered new honda city (e spec), black color. the 1st thing when i receive the car is, to change the tyre and rim. coz i travel from selangor to pahang a lot. currently using honda city 4th generation, 15" rim, 195/55/R15. it is my dad's car. i read this thread, most of u guys talking about lenso brand. my budget is around RM2500. so, what are possible choices i have? i saw rim with bronze color does match with black car, but at the same time, i like white rim on black car. with ur budget, yes i would suggest u go for lenso brand including tyres...white color rim with black car really match but u'll find that its hard to manage..easy to get dirty..then the best color for black car is bronze rim.. |

QUOTE(laytiong @ Apr 6 2009, 11:25 PM) PCD100 is always easier to find...114.5 is the one harder as most jap cars use PCD100. a lot of the lighter rims are all on PCD 100. are u sure bout the PCD?bcos already ask the tyre shop as mostly japan rim got pcd114.5..and already did some research from other forums, mostly pcd100 japan rim will be overprice than the pcd114.5 rim eventhough it is the same design, same brand, same series..TE37 is heavier than CE28. The correct weight is around 4kg. Do a google search on the rim weight. You'll be surprised. I did all my research before getting rims. 2.6k for 2nd rims is acceptable but need to check if its repaired or bent. but, do correct me if i m wrong.. QUOTE(egiewan @ Apr 7 2009, 12:14 AM) Thats the thing, I tot the lightest 15 inchers were the famous Desmond Evo Regamaster/ Spoon SW388. It's 3.88kg so thats where they got the name from i thought that too.. lol |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Apr 7 2009, 12:30 AM) eerr.....its PCD 114.3....got PCD114.5 meh?? oopss..sorry for that misleading..haha..the 'point2' thing make me confuse whether it is 114.3 or 114.5..but generally referred to as just "PCD 114" anyway...1 thing i noticed is that for jap cars...pcd100 is more towards general cars....their performance cars are mostly 114.3...especially in thhe case of hondas. n most old school rims...those deep dish types are 114.3...almost impossible to find 100. yup..thats what i thought too..mostly performance rim will not come in pcd100..if it is, it might be a higher price.. |
