QUOTE(faiz293 @ Mar 19 2014, 09:02 AM) agreed. TS, this is a good suggestion. by the way, what i know is there are 3 things that you should know. 1. Size (17",16", 15" and so forth) 2. PCD (114,100 and...) 3. JJ (+ or -) Currently I'm using a TE37 replica, 16". I know original is good, but since I use my car for a normal drive, they are already ok. 4 : High disk or low disk for 3/2 piece rims mostly . High disk offers the most clearance for big calipers ( min lip ) while low disk offers the least clearance ( max lip ) . Some manufacturers like Manaray , when u opt for high disk , they give u a spacer add on . Eg 18x10J + 10 ..... What they do is give u a 18x10J +30 rims with a 20mm spacer to add on to the rim , screwed together unlike the spacer we add ourselves . The use of spacer is for you to clear your big calipers eg Brembo , AP Racing This post has been edited by Noobi3: Mar 21 2014, 01:48 PM

QUOTE(faiz293 @ Apr 10 2014, 05:27 PM) ori around 2500 - 4000 depending on size and model. taiwan, 400 also can get. to spot, u need to open and look at the back of the rim. there are marks and some other things to recognize. those who have bought ori rim before shud know. These days , there isn't a price range anymore for ori and RM4000 can hardly get a decent 17" ori Japanese/US rims unless u r referring to RM4000 per piece

QUOTE(faiz293 @ Apr 10 2014, 08:42 PM) well, actually im talking bout a 2nd hand price. hehe. Oh , no wonder . Even so , try to avoid getting from shops or sellers where the rims r repainted . U will never know what was the condition of the rim before it . Know of a shop in USJ , nearby the old USJ Digital Mall , they bring in damaged rims from Japan . What they do is repair it and repaint and sell off at a normal price of used rims . Some of the condition of the rims before repair , i really wonder how they can repair it back

QUOTE(apexivtec @ Apr 28 2014, 03:01 AM) Can i ask abt male female rim, et35 and et40, which one put in front and back? Et35 in front or back? Tqq Et 35 should be the back IF the wide , J is the same for both front and back but best check with the shop when u fix it . . QUOTE(hasukyo @ Apr 30 2014, 03:51 PM) hi guys, can anyone tell me where to find 15 inch rim with 5h and pcd114.3 ? very hard to find...other than japanese rim as those are too expensive. Most places have it unless u wanna go for replicas . SSW is thai made , cheap , yes , quality , better then most replica but it's heavy . 15" should be 1k +/- . Can get it from Stamford Tyres

QUOTE(minizian @ May 3 2014, 01:01 AM) Is there any actual 14 inch rim that is lighther yet strong than stock ones? Is there such thing as performance tire for 14inch wheels? CUrrently rolling on xm2's Yes but limited choices for rims and tires . Eg Volk TE37 from Japan or Kosei K1 TS , US rims . K1 TS is consider light at 9lbs . Tire choices , no idea , guess it depends on your tire size but there's performance tires for 14" eg Falken Azenis 615 in 195/60/14 or Bridgestone Potenza RE92 in 175/65/14 . Some have to get from SG by driving down to fix it there since malaysia dont carry the size . Do note , it's been a while since i drove a 14" so the tire choice might be replaced with a newer model Still the best option is 15" , much wider choices for both tires and rims
