erk.... so to ask, lighter weight usually how much weight?

Example,
if 17"?
*
17" usually weighting around 7 to 8 kilos.. and can be heavier..
but there are some 17" weighting 5 kilos only.. damn light.. smaller rim are usually lighter

Hey bro, seems like you're quite interested with rims eh. Yup, like what I said the other day.. lightweight ones are the way to go to preserve ur FC. Lenso rims are quite decent. If you trade in your stock rims + tires, and get the rims + tires.. you might get a good deal. Can always try to go to h20 in klang.. lotsa forumers go there for rims..

Glad that you liked it, bro smile.gif
But don't drive too fast yah. Don't scare the gf..hehe

H20's along Jalan Kapar, Klang. Quite a big and reputable establishment. My brother bought his rims there and I got my tyres there.
Quite reasonable.

Yea, seems like it. But I guess Taiwan made rims are still far better than our JRD or BSA.

Yea. They prolly look good, but are heavy. I'll try to avoid them at all cost.

WindDragon: Since the gab between the wheel arch of the Waja is quite big.. try considering a 16".
It does up the cool factor a bit. That's the only reason why I got them for my car. Few more days then my car will be sold. sweat.gif

Lol. You also like my rims also eh? hehe! Cannot la, bro. The new owner kinda like my current rims.
Think that was probably the best mod I did to my car, except that it hurt the FC a bit whistling.gif

Yup. Good luck searching. Lenso rims are recommended for your budget smile.gif

Get all 4 wheels finish-balanced (on-wheel balancing).
Many shops in KL don't seem to have the on-wheel balancers, which is REALLY bad sad.gif Did it in my hometown (Malacca)

Make sure the shop you go into has an on-wheel balancer, or they would usually con you by jacking the front of your car, putting it into gear and running the wheels with their hand on the fender/lower-arm/etc.

A finish-balancer would look something like this...

used to have the same issue as yours.... look at the rims and no dents....

but when took out the rims and tires and put the on the balancing machine... they tested and saw that theres small dents which causes the vibrates....

balancing how many times oso still will vibrate...

suggest u check for urs as well....

but i think 16" is much better than 17" for FC.. coz the bigger the rim the bigger the hole made in ur pocket.. many says that using 17" is for cosmetic purpose.. but i dont agree.. hehehe..
