theyre about the same la imho... as for recommendation....hard to say bro...that comes down to ur taste... and since ur running on GTi...id go for 15" instead.... better response...and a whole lot more tire choices compared to 16" and cheaper too. |

QUOTE(skuzzlebutt @ Apr 9 2011, 12:08 PM) looking for rim 15x6j offset +40 and above. been looking few tyre shop also cant found. The shop told me most the 15" rim are offset +38 and 6.5j most rims at 6jj width are usually OEM/stock rims that comes with the car.u can try looking for K-Kar rims but theyre mostly branded japanese and expensive....and even then most of them are 5.5jj if not mistaken if the reason ur looking for that size is coz ur using a K-Kar then i used to use a 6.5jj +40 with 165/50/15 tires in my ex-kelisa. ve also heard of those with +35 sucessfully fitting to their kelisa/kenari |

QUOTE(mango27 @ Aug 24 2012, 03:29 AM) i just installed new sport rims... but wanna ask, why do new rims need do balancing? they added like 5-10 metal thingy for each of the rims... i thought brand new rims should be balanced already? even if the new rims are perfectly balanced.....do u think ur tires are balanced? balancing will need to be done no matter wat... but balancing doesnt mean its bent. |

QUOTE(philipanda @ Sep 25 2012, 07:06 PM) for the 15" part of course all same.. takkan gonna have 15.1"? but if ur talking specs wise... then no...not the same...every car has their own specific PCD, amount of lugs, and offset suitable for that car.. find out wats urs.easiest way to find out is to remove ur current rim and look at the writings on the back |
