QUOTE(cottonkandy @ Apr 27 2009, 09:15 PM) kaoru, don't rush to get your pet. it's more worth it to wait for 2-3 months for a healthy pet rather than getting a unhealthy pet and supporting the irresponsible petshop. thanks for the advise. yeah thts why i rather buy from breeders here. thanks for the info~! may i know tht guy's name? i'll try n PM himmaybe you can try pm the reptiles kingdom fella in GS. he is selling hedgies for Rm150. i'm not so sure about the quality. you can have a look there. and yes pokimons are very adorable. Added on April 28, 2009, 1:08 pm QUOTE(wookp @ Apr 28 2009, 08:48 AM) Hey maybe you can get it from empty_reg. I cancelled my order with him since jitshiong can get me a hoglet in 2 weeks time. Weeee....I'll be a pokimon owner as well! thanks for the info~! i'll try to contact him..Added on April 28, 2009, 1:11 pm QUOTE(meento @ Apr 27 2009, 09:22 PM) Its possible to organize since i see more and more Durian's owner here...Still, let see how its goes on first coz owner maybe reluctant to bring their hedgie since they easily get sick.. haha nope there is no pokimon in the event, i do hope someone can bring one but they say travelling is not good for hedgie...thanks~!Same here, i usually let my hedgie roam around my backyards also..For those who didn't know, this little bugger run quite fast compare to their size.. Good for you kaoru himura hehe...Did anybody bring their hedgie to the canteen day? If so, maybe that spike your interest more LOL...Good Luck in getting one This post has been edited by kaoru himura: Apr 28 2009, 01:11 PM |

QUOTE(livingmonolith @ May 2 2009, 12:40 PM) recently petshack carries a new hedgehog food called ultra blend hedgehog diet, i would recommend it as well for your hedgehogs, although i believe if you put the kibbles together with any RC kibbles, the hedgehogs usually finish up the RC first. this is interesting, kibbles especially for hedgie, might as well try it to my new hedgie slightly higher in price about RM20+ but it's a 600g pack, so in the average i guess the price is about the same since RC's small packs are 400g. |

Kenshin is abit grumpy if i want to take him out to play, but once outside he fine and friendly. i love watching him with the toliet roll, he like squeezing inside the roll n stay there hahaha so cute can anyone put my name n Kenshin in the Hedgie owner list? |

QUOTE(ReBeLLioN @ May 23 2009, 02:23 PM) warghhh.. still scared me to touch my hedgehog... dun worry give ur hedgie a few days. my kenshin is tame d, wht i do bfore i want to take him is i show my hand to him, let him sniff2, sometimes lick abit then when he shows no stress i will try to lift him by scooping him from the stomach area which is soft. if he recognized ur scent he will let u lift him punye. put ur baju busuk inside n let him be for 2 days, then u try take the steps i mentioned. good luck~!when he curl i try take it n he like push he body to my hand... hiaz... still dunno how to handle it.. when i take it from the breeder i put it in my hand ok but today like.. dunno what to say... now he likes to play with the water bottle till all the bedding wet lor....aiyah how to make him stop? and he also eat n sleep alot This post has been edited by kaoru himura: May 23 2009, 02:59 PM |

QUOTE(eric138 @ May 25 2009, 11:11 PM) Kaoru, as i know, wood shaving bedding would cause infection on male hedgie. i see thanks alot for the infol, will change bedding immediately. might stick to BC (expensive but reliable...as always) If i use BC need to change everyday oso ka?and how about crystal like bedding tht izzulogy mentioned? And, i think pine bedding is not suitable for all small animals. |

OMG... i cant imagine how bad the condition of the hedgies sold in petshops, how some humans only think of making profit out of innocent animals and fail to realize that those pets are living creatures, not toys you can stuff in a cramped tank and mixed...how cruel a human can be? Imagine the shopowners and irresponsible breeders are kept as pets by aliens, what if we are treated the same as what they have done to the animals, can they take it?
felt emotional after reading previous post, sorry if i'm a little sissy. but yeah i felt really sorry for the hedgies chinchilla mentioned, and also all the poorly maintained animals sold in petshops...what we can do? do not support them n by from responsible breeder? then wht about the animals left in the store? how to help them? |

congrats meiixin~! you're gonna love Yoko, hedgie is so cute~! and totally diff frm GPs, so now you got variety hahaha~! This post has been edited by kaoru himura: May 30 2009, 11:25 PM |
