A random note, a hedgehog's bite is very unpleasant. Be sure to wash your hands before handling.

Mizu is using fleece as her bed and she goes to her toilet to poo and pee. It's not too hard to toilet train and I find it very very easy to clean the tank when they're trained.
You can try Ikea, they sell cheap fleece blankets there. I cut it up in fours and use it for Mizu. Don't need to sew it as the threads dont come loose easily. |

My phone no batt at the mo, will post pics later when got the time. I will try to describe for now, the toilet is basically a large tray filled with bedding. The fleece blanket is put on the other side of the tank as it is. The rest of the tank has no bedding so it's easy to sweep and clean.

About the toilet training litter trays, I can get that tray for RM4, the red tray in Mizu's picture. It's a good size for hedgies. Cat litter trays are more expensive and a bit too big for hedgies.

Salt & Pepper female hedgie up for adoption with adoption fee. My ex classmate going to leave country soon and no time for her, so she passed her to me to help her find a home.
Pics will be up later, check out the adoption thread for more info. |

Depends on what you decide to feed it, house it on and in. Not very high maintenance, easier than a glider.
Mable is defensive but can be handled. Tame in a sense she doesn't bite. |

Lol, it's like BTS in Australia. They're pests and very common there, here we pay 300 to 400 for one baby BTS.

Actually, I think the wheel may be too slanted and too slippery. The stand and method may be correct, but the basin used doesn't seem right.

Steamed/boiled chicken without any salt/sugar/additives. Kai Fan the chicken too-------- salty.
Make sure it's a breeder, not someone who gets from supplier. The ones taken from suppliers are usually a tad too young and may have mites/parasites. This post has been edited by Reanne: Jan 30 2009, 05:52 PM |

Lol, heya Kimmie, thx for giving Mizu a good home. Hope to see some updates and pictures once she's settled as she was pretty stressed out from the trip.
Gosh... I can't help but feel emo cuz I'm looking at her pictures, but now I know she's in good hands. Here's some pics, ode to Mizu and her hoglets. This post has been edited by Reanne: Jun 5 2009, 03:51 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

From what I gathered last time she's an algerian brown. I think she has some snowflake or carrying the gene as she has more white on her quill tips.
