Hei guys long time.

Mr Moogle's is very active on the wheel, and even though i leave a bunch of kitten food in it's bowl, it's weight isn't as fat as Henrietta. Probably because he runs alot.

Anyway Mr Moogle's seems to have some sort of red inflation below it's left eye. Could that be a mosquito bite or some sort of cancer growth ? 1 Week ago i don't think it had it.

Is there a good hedgehog vetenerian near Petaling Jaya, Selangor i could take my Hedgehog too ? Please i need the address.

Thanks everyone.

I gave Yeoh a call he is a nice guy said to use anti septic cream first. If got any problem ask to bring to him. At least he gave free advice over the phone and i never been to him before thumbup.gif

He said a sick hedgehog wouldn't be moving around much. But looking at mr moogle's its way over active so i guess he is ok. The inflation just got me scared a bit sweat.gif

One thing i like about my hedgehog is when it rolls up and pokes its head up and u can see its quill fringe go up and down. Kinda looks like tin tin laugh.gif so kawaii.

Yeah i was thinking about giving it a cloth but i read somewhere hedgehogs can get hurt by cloth threads. I was scared it would get hurt which is why i never leave any cloth around for it shocking.gif

I pity mr moogle's because it's wooden house doesn't seem good enough for it. Any ideas about making a good house for it ?

Well i don't dare pick up Mr moogle's cauz of same problem as u Kylezehya.

Usually i just watch it run at night, when it will hide back in it's house or it will go to the other end of the aquarium and watch me till i go away doh.gif lulz...

I got some night googles i use to observe it because of that tongue.gif

I too am not sure how to successfully be friends with hedgy. I like hedgy but hedgy doesn't like me :[

My poor Mr Moogle's a while back had a growth beneath his eye. After using anti septic it seemed better, but now its worse. Brought Mr Moogle's to the doctor and he said it was a tumor !!

It's operation is today so hope for the best *crosses fingers

Oddly i never feed it any of that China cr@p. I buy it the best kitten food, so not sure how it got a tumor. It likes to run the wheel alot :/

Is this a diet problem ? because i only feed it the same kitten food all the time.

Well i guess it could be worse for hedgys'

Just look at the Australian Tazmanian Devil. It was reported by National Geographic that their likely to be made extinct because of their genetic hereditary health problem which gives them face cancer eventually.

The future looks bleak for the Tazmanian Devils :[

Anyway i feel sorry for Mr Moogle's :[ I never knew it's lineage since i bought him off AdrianMole. But i wouldn't toss away a hedgehog just cauz it was sick. Hoping to look after it ^^

Mr Moogle's is doing fine. The doctor used anesthetics when he did the surgery. Brought him to Doctor Teoh which is a nice guy.

Operation was RM 150 which is quite alright. Anyway tumor is gone and they will be removing the stitching today smile.gif

I haven't heard him run on the wheel at night, or maybe i sleep like a rock after getting use to it heh.

Anyway what other kitten food brand do you recommend that is safe for hedgy consumption ? I only feed baby kitten food since it has less fat. Mr Moogle's has grown big, but it isn't fat like Henrieta. I also made a new house for Mr Moogle's since it needed a bigger living space, so i made one out of a shoebox :] hehe.

What other toys can i get the hedgy besides a wheel, and a toilet roll ?

Added on October 22, 2008, 1:15 pmOh i would like to add a funny story. The doctor and nurse were speaking to Mr Moogle's in chinese.

But how do they know whether Mr Moogle's responds to chinese, bahasa or English ? I think even the hedgy was confused hehe.

Anyway i fully recommend doctor Teoh because of first class treatment for pet hedgys and reasonable prices smile.gif
