QUOTE(Izzulogy @ May 26 2009, 03:41 PM) yeah.. C&C.. now lotsa people hunting for it.. most of them ar GP keepers..lol I know someone who could bring the original C&C direct from US.. i think if somebody willing bring them in, it would sell 4 good! The original C&C is different from those you buy in supermarket, diff in size & quality.. Those from US is way much better... |

roaches from your longkang is dirty. and maybe there's parasites clinged on their legs or maybe an infection. we don't know. so not advised to feed wild caught insects.

k.s: wah... u still remember my siew mai! so touched~ lol
aztoy: well... nothing wrong with hedgie sleeping outside the box. dun worry, since she is sleeping with her legs spread apart, means she is relaxed~ one possible reason could be the hideout not airy enuf, too hot. or it could be simply that the hedgie just feel comfy enuf outside, (have no intention to hide). as long as the hideout remains there, the hedgie will go in whenever she wans to hide, her own choice. ^^ ** my boy loves to sleep with 4 legs hanging in the air....outside the hideout. he used to scare me as i thought he was dead *choy choy choy touch wood* This post has been edited by Hiyuki: May 30 2009, 12:00 AM |

Some petshops owners got no knowledge about pets de ma. The babies might not even made it to adulthood. Pity the mum and hoglets.

@aztoys,
the hedgehog's fine, they can adapt to normal room temperature or a little higher, but don't keep it in air-conditioned room which are too cold as they can go into hibernation mode, and that' not something you want to see. btw, one month old, or one month since you got it from the seller? i assume it's the latter since the hoglet will still be feeding off the mother's milk and usually still not able to take solid kibbles yet. @chinchillas, that's what happens when the seller has no whatsoever knowledge of pets but only want the money the pets will make for them. i've seen in many petshops where they house both males and females together and trying to convince buyers that hedgehogs should be bought in pairs like hamsters (both are lies, if anyone's wondering). and i don't dare to imagine what you actually saw there. |
