Nice pic u get there s98432512..Ma hedgie also will defend her self every time i want to pick her up... what i do is to let her sniff ma hand a bit and she will cool down...Takes me few month to let her get use 2 ma hand.. But beware, some cases they bite bite ur hand....  One more thing, may i suggest u 2 get a bigger hideout 4 ur lil hedgie... Kesian lar very tight space...Juz a 2 cent from me... Usually they won't bite in defence, they'll lick to taste and only bite to test what is it. Is kind of cute to see them trying to bite your finger. Hehe
Is possible to train it to be more gentle, need to spend lots of time with it to get it use to the idea. Must pick them up with lots of patience. My friend's male is grumpy now because last time I treat it forcefully while feeding it medicine.

Hedgies are so tempting!!
you can use normal pet carrier/bags to transport hedgies too..
but hedgies are likely to stay at their home rather than go jalan-jalan..
some hedgies get sick if they travel...
Owh god I want to have a hedgie!!!!!!!!!
