Help!! can sumbody help me.. my Iphone suddenly have no audio at all. no sound at all. please help me!

what did you install? what did u do b4 the sound is gone?

How new are you to iphone? honest answer may help.... sumtimes things gone wrong for a very2 simple and common issue...

story sikit. what did u done b4?
any mods done etc??

Did you accidentally silent it or volume set at zero?

Right.... thats why we need to know how new are you with this iphone.... or maybe that silent mode button where orange dotted button look like enable where its actually disable sound right...

i did install sum games n stuffs.. then suddenly a msg pop up sayin dat my audio was deleted or sumtin.. n it ask me to reboot but i tried 2 reboot tice but still da same lar.. hmm.. wats wit dis stupid phone anyway! GUYS.. WAT SHUD I DO???

Maybe hardware failure,or you set limit in your volume setting?

nope.. checked dat.. god! i dunno wat else to think of..

The best way would be going to Settings --> General --> Reset --> Reset all settings. This will only reset the settings, it will not 'kacau' your other data.

If thats also fail ... list down all the apps and games that u already install. Maybe we can pin-point what app is causing the problem.

Another possible diagnosis for your problem would be a "broken" silent switch. The switch with the orange spot could be dysfunctional due to some "extraordinarily powerful" sudden shocks, hence whether or not you try to unmute the switch the audio remains muted.

No worries. There is a bypass you can try in order to solve your problem. NOTE : I'M UNABLE TO GURANTEE THAT THIS'LL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM, BUT UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES IT'S DEFINITELY WORTH A SHOT.

1. Install VideosTone (this will allow your phone to bypass the Celestial.framework and play videos/ringtones even when then silent switch is muted)

a) Add "http://app.ifonetec.com" to your Installer.app sources list and refresh.
b) Install and reboot.


2. Install Silent Switch Bypass (this will recover all the System sounds, eg. keyboard, sent/received sms, voicemail, lock/unlock etc.)

a) Add "http://installer.iclarified.com" to your Installer.app sources list and refresh.
b) Install and reboot.

Err actually there's another way to diagnose if the silent switch is broken without installing any apps. Just go to Settings --> Sounds. Just play around with the ringtones or volume slider in there. If there's sound then its the silent switch problem but if still no sound then your sound system already messed up. I'm trying to make a guess shot ... do u have iPhone Video Recorder installed?

if ur using 1.1.4..try going to ur installer....there's a software that could fix no sound problem...under recent packages...and view one by one...

Restore!!...hmm....frankly, all the buayaking in here know restoring will for sure solve the problem as they're trying to solve it without restoring. Well, at least we know someone here diam-diam makan seorang when there's special tag!..lol
