QUOTE(Chinchillas @ Nov 3 2008, 04:57 PM) QUOTE(Jamien @ Nov 3 2008, 05:00 PM) OMG. How come? Did she fight with your other piggies? Was she sick? it didnt look like she got into a fight or was bitten it looked like i was bleeding by itself....I hope you will monitor your other piggies closely. If your moo moo was sick, it could be contagious and your other pigs may have it. BTW I'm so sorry. can they get nose bleed....? |

moo moo ... when i found her dead she was out of the cage Added on November 4, 2008, 6:18 pm QUOTE(Jamien @ Nov 3 2008, 08:27 PM) Bleeding from mouth, rectum or genitals: do you think i should go check a vet for all my other guinea pigs?Any bloody discharge should be considered serious. Causes can be internal hemorrhaging, bladderstones, pregnancy complications; minutes can make a difference with treatment. Note: female guinea pigs do not exhibit a menstrual flow. Blood is abnormal and should be considered a serious matter. from http://www.cavyinfo.com/html/emergency.html Looks like any signs of bleeding in a guinea pig is an extremely serious case. but they are not doing anything unusual....
