Yes very expensive, I haven't order my cubes yet, just planning only but since JuzTiny said Carrefour got sell then I went to have a look again. Not sure same size or not but I don't think its suitable for small animals =_= gap quite big and boru can run away if he wants  sweat.gif

@ everyone : Anyone can own a pet, but only a handful can provide their best to them  wink.gif most pets are abused and neglected everyday thats why some GP  communities insist on "adopting" a GP from a shelter instead of buying one (Don't think Malaysia have GP in SPCA) but my point is, their intention is really good. I respect those type of people.
*
Hmm.. i dont think the gap should be a problem... icon_rolleyes.gif

Coz u will need cloroplast right for their place? nod.gif

Try look at dis link...

http://www.guineapigcages.com/howto.htm

I dont know u know about it or not, but its very useful for those wanna use Cubes and cloroplast. thumbup.gif

yea i know that link but i still scared he jump and run out or chew the coroplast till got 1 hole & escape thou i have read before that GP dun really try escaping from their cage.

*
Based on my experience, u no need to worry for dat, i use a lot of type of cage, luxury cage, simple cage, cloroplast ..
I saw GP never dare to jump out of the area in cloroplast, they feel safe in their area.
If u really worried u just make the side lebih tinggi. nod.gif

I dont know Bonai experienced, i think his GP also like dat.

is it Bonai...? wub.gif

*
Yup, really... if u put ur cage inside the house better cover the sides... coz mine i put cage outside so i not make cover for the side coz i will clean their poo and pee every morning. sweat.gif

Except the GP toilet trained so less pee and poo .. biggrin.gif

I would like to share some goodies with all guinea pig owners. Feeding a balanced fresh diet rich in natural Vitamin C has shown what a difference a proper diet can make.

Providing our guinea pigs with a good quality commercial staple mix and hay is insufficient as a balanced fresh diet plays a vital role too. I have long discovered that it is not easy for guinea pig lovers who own only 1 or 2 guinea pigs to buy a whole lot of fruits and vegetables, especially in light of our weather where fruits and vegetables are unable to last long.

Therefore, I have come up with this Uncle Taro’s Cavia-Smoothie, which will make life easier for all guinea pig lovers. One enormous benefit of the Cavia-Smoothie is that the guinea pig will not be able to pick and choose according to his fancy, ensuring that all necessary nutrition is consumed. Every tub of Uncle Taro’s Cavia-Smoothie contains 8 varieties of fresh vegetables and fruits which are naturally high in Vitamin C, as well as grains and protein.

Feeding Uncle Taro’s Cavia-Smoothie is amazingly simple. All we need to do is:- keep the mix in the freezer, scrape required amount into their bowl and let melt for 5 minutes before serving.

The basic feeding amounts are as follows: (although you can feed as much as your guinea pig can eat)

Piglet - 2 tablespoons per meal
Adult - 3 tablespoons per meal

If there are any uneaten portions, they are to be thrown out the next day.

Uncle Taro’s Cavia-Smoothie has NO added sugar, NO preservatives and NO added color.

In order to encourage more guinea pig owners to feed a Balanced Fresh Diet to their Guinea Pigs, Uncle Taro will give away 20 sample containers to LYN members. YES! IT’S FREE! It’s on a First Come First Serve basis. Samples are now available in PET SHACK, Sunway. Please visit www.petshack.com.my to get directions.

All you have to do is walk into PET SHACK, shout out your LYN ID and get your free Uncle Taro’s Cavia-Smoothie. It’s that simple! Please remember that this is only whilst stocks last so do hurry!

In order to give everyone an opportunity to try, only 1 member ID can get 1 sample, and you have to show your OWN FACE. No tumpang ok?

Hope you all will enjoy your Uncle Taro’s Cavia-Smoothie.

p/s: all Uncle Taro’s Cavia-Smoothie are human consumable.

EMERGENCY NEWS~

I saw a cute piggy at a pet store ...  drool.gif

.......

cant help it but have to adopt the 4weeks+ old small pig back.  tongue.gif    rclxms.gif
as a total beginner, i NEED LYN Sifu to guide me  icon_question.gif  and i will do my own homework of course  icon_rolleyes.gif  to help this ltl fella to find a new home.

my current setup is the normal toyogo box ( 40cm X 20cm X 18cm ) . It's bedding is newspaper covered with wood shed(normal hammie bed). ( ADVICE PLS )

I place a small box for she to hide coz she really afraid of ppl. Since stress is kinda hazardous to them, so I plan to leave her for a day ( ADVICE PLS )

For her food, i prepare to feed the 1mth+ piggy with vege such as cucumber and carrot ( ADVICE PLS ) ... I'm not sure about pellet since the pet shop doesn't have a specialize pellet and it doesn't generate confidence it me, hence I need Lyn members to suggest or make buz from me pls. ( ADVICE PLS )

I placed a water cap as for the drinking process or a water bottle is preferable? ( ADVICE PLS )
I will post her picture tomoro with the setup. Kindly advise me thru this thread or pm.

thx ... actually i only purchased the GP herself only, the rest is still KIV. I need to get her proper food fast, suggest me (i live around MMU malacca)

I dont plan to leave her in the box after she's familiar to me. Leave her around or build a cage as suggest by websites.

For the water bottle, i will get 1 now

thx for the fast advise, really appreciate them.  smile.gif
