BTW, I'm having problem with my Gmod.. Always getting stuck especially when handling models.. Is it my graphic card driver?

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't seem to work..

Ya it would stuck sometimes its kinda like loading have to be patient.....unless you using duo core mine single XD

Just wait next time u load it will be faster

u nid wait GMOD finish load the model in the menu 1st, then onli spawn it
otherwise it will be super slow

Yes, I am using a dual core processor..its Core 2 Duo E4600
Thats why I'm wondering why it is so slow..

Even tried lowering the recommended graphics..

You mean there's still loading after the loading screen?? Which is at the main menu??
Didn't see any loading notifications..

edit: I think its Gmod problem because when I opened the task manager.. The cpu usage shows <10%

best if u know how far your PC can go then set limit the ragdoll, model and AI model.

I noticed after I install the tortoise svn thing, my gmod started having problems..
Before that its totally fine..

So much for giving advantages that non-svn users have..

www.garrysmod.org is the best place to download all kinds of stuff, models and addon. Usually, I download maps from FPSbanana and mostly are Counter Strike Source maps.

Blurry background is in-game post-processing effect. Select Post processing tab and choose Depth of Field.

That's post-processing effect. Choose Post-processing tab at the top right side after pressing Q and tick Simple DOF (Depth of field). You can adjust the blur size and depth. There's also Super DOF but it is suitable to be used when you want to blur nearest object and focus the further object.

Left 4 Dead 2 demo is out now and I don't have a chance to play it since I don't pre-order the game (planning to get it from TSB). So, I just have some 'fun' with the L4D2 models only in Garry's Mod..

Yeah. Some of us are still playing the game. As of me, I'd probably play lesser than usual now that L4D2 has came out yesterday. Maybe I'll be playing tonight to mess around with L4D2 models.

About the servers you're talking about, apparently there is a Malaysian server for Gmod recently. You need to download a few things to make it work though. Its around <300MB I think
