your stock kelisa speaker is a full range driver

the kenwood component is a mid + high speaker filter by a crossover

you need a sub if you want bass, or 6x9 at the rear

Hi all.

Thanks for all your replies.

Seems like the solution to my problem is to spend more money to get amp and subwoofer.

But if I get amp, would it help to make the bass sound stronger? I thought the subwoofer would be more important?

Generally, how is my set up? Ok? Should I be getting good sound with those speakers and HU?

those are good as stock replacement, component speaker can be use without amp if you don't open too loud until it clip because of lack of RMS from player, typical 12v cd player output 22-25rms of power to speaker.

or you can buy a woofer and 4ch amp to power from component and woofer smile.gif

So my problem is that my HU is not giving out enough power?

According to the specs of the speakers, they have a lot more potential?

Guess it's time to start saving for an amp biggrin.gif

the speaker can sound louder if u add amp but it still wont give u any bass because that is component set
