is the thread still on? love to learn the art but the upfront is huge for young lad like me, plus nice beans are hard to find. Any1 know where i can get some really good coffee?
I stopped drinking from starbuck long ago, its like fastfood version of coffee, no passion at all. Wonder if there is still any shop in KL that makes some good coffee...

common la... old town has become so commercialized already, there are 3 of those in my area... The 1 u meant should be hazelnut coffee, i used to have alot of those, they are sold as 3 in1 in Giant.
Oldtown coffee i prefer 'si nian nan yang'/nanyang memorably, but the quality is going down as number of outlets going up.
