Guys, I'm having a minor issue with the camera button where it need to be pressed harder or twice at least in order to capture photos. I was wondering whether is the ribbon foil connecting the board with the camera giving way edi?
How much to get it replace? I bought for my wife & her phone is an AP set which is still under warranty. Sigh..... even my trusty old K800i still working perfectly even after 2.5 years usage.

QUOTE(rews @ Mar 24 2009, 04:30 AM) My hp is about 9 month old... When I turn it back it's ok.. just it kinda weird.. when I left it the batt was about 60% after 4-5 hrs sit there, finish already (hp off) I suspected your power IC chip koyak as it wouldn't store the charge of your battery & keeps discharging by its own. I encountered this similar problem before with my K608i.

QUOTE(rews @ Mar 25 2009, 12:14 AM) So how you solve that prob? Obviously U need to get that power IC replace with a new one from phone repair centres. If I'm not mistaken, the power IC plus workmanship to repair will costs u around RM100-120. FYI, the price is valid for Klang Valley areas only. Added on March 25, 2009, 6:12 pmQUOTE(karLz @ Mar 25 2009, 02:27 AM) bro if the ic 'koyak' can the phone really turning on.... in most cases if ic prob, the phone sure dead... If the power IC is faulty without keeping charge then for sure, the phone is dead & can't be turn ON at all. But in most cases, the power IC will tends to discharge the battery charge pre-maturely which shows signs that it's gonna koyak soon. This post has been edited by nd_4ever: Mar 25 2009, 06:12 PM
