Guys, I'm having a minor issue with the camera button where it need to be pressed harder or twice at least in order to capture photos. I was wondering whether is the ribbon foil connecting the board with the camera giving way edi?

How much to get it replace? I bought for my wife & her phone is an AP set which is still under warranty. Sigh..... even my trusty old K800i still working perfectly even after 2.5 years usage.

I suspected your power IC chip koyak as it wouldn't store the charge of your battery & keeps discharging by its own. I encountered this similar problem before with my K608i.

So how you solve that prob? hmm.gif

Obviously U need to get that power IC replace with a new one from phone repair centres. If I'm not mistaken, the power IC plus workmanship to repair will costs u around RM100-120. FYI, the price is valid for Klang Valley areas only.

If the power IC is faulty without keeping charge then for sure, the phone is dead & can't be turn ON at all. But in most cases, the power IC will tends to discharge the battery charge pre-maturely which shows signs that it's gonna koyak soon.
