Anyway, as a K810i owner, one of the weakness of the photos taken with the camera is noise (those red and green thingies, especially in the dark or not well lit areas). You can try using a software called Noiseware Community Edition (freeware) for a quick job of reducing or eliminating the noise.. Here's the download page: Imagenomic - Imagination at Shutter Speed: Downloads

QUOTE(skylancer @ Jul 7 2008, 04:58 AM) How the difference after modded and before modded? Is it huge better?or just a little bit? Better fidelity, contrast and more vivid colors. I didn't like the original driver's dull (and sometimes "washed out") color..can share some photo after modded with us? Original driver Modded driver Images have been resized. Notice the greens, the blue on the building wall, parking lot yellow stripe, the brick fence.. QUOTE(karLz @ Jul 7 2008, 12:17 PM) which the best camera driver for k810i?? I'm using Withan too. im now using whitan camdriver...how bout u guys Pros: Gives vivid color, better contrast, good fidelity (Kopritis driver has best fidelity, but not so vivid colors on the spot). Cons: Due to increased color gain, image noise increase especially in not so well lit areas (compare the window frame on the above samples), not suitable for quick night shots (must use scene settings). Which is why I use a "de-noise" utility if the picture has too much noise. This post has been edited by lex: Jul 7 2008, 12:56 PM |

QUOTE(waynekoowy @ Jul 7 2008, 05:31 PM) lex, could u provide modding service to k810i member? You can do it yourself using the guide in the links posted... Only tricky part is getting the factory service mode to activate... QUOTE(jakuraz @ Jul 7 2008, 08:12 PM) has anyone tried radio_without_headset.vkp patch? The FM radio antenna is using the "long wire part " of the headset itself. That's why the radio only works when the headset is plugged in... well..it is working on my k810 but....no signal/channels detected lol..........any way to solve this other than using headset? |
