actually k810i button problem (joystick, camera button etc) can be solved by changing housing? jz wandering...

Yeah, can be solved by changing housing.

Unless is the malfunction, then will have to fix da circuit board.

housing is just the cover, how to solve any button problems?

but the new housing is come with new button panels. so can change all the buttons.

if u know how to change it on ur own, it is cheap.
at shop i think they can charge up to rm150 to 200 as i know...

i really want to know changing the housing and buttons can solve the problem or not...

joystick prob- due to dust in the roller... can be solve by cleaning it....
cam button prob- the connection wire loose.... can be solve by reconnect it...

no use changing housing....

eventually u did try to clean/reconnecting ur k810i? and it turns out working?

till now my k810 din face any prob as i kno the right way to take care of it... last time i was working at hp shop be4 n tis is the knowledge i gained from thr...

might gv it a try to solve it...
but hv to get torx 6 screw driver...where can i buy it? how much?

if ur hp is still in warranty, u might try to ask them to service for u... if their afte-sales service is good, they might give u foc... not really advisable to d.i.y... unless u really kno wat u r doin... actually best way to prevent ur joystick malfunction is avoid pressing the joystick(jus use it to navigate) n aso avoid ur hp from high humidity area (e.g. putting in the pocket when u r sweating)

no more warranty already...
so i jz gv it a try on my own lo...
how about gallery button not functioning? can solve it by changing buttons too?

Hi all k810i users,
having some problem here, hope you all can resolve it

I've just found that myphoneExplorer can save on SMS
alright now I've installed it into my PC
so when I press connect, it search
but it failed in searching,
with error message of
"Search Completed, no device found"
Tipps:
"Take the battery out of your phone for 2 minutes"

I've do so, then I reconnect, still it doesnt work, any idea guys?
is it my phone problem?
some update needed on my phone?

1st of all.. u need to kno wat prob wit the button... guess u can seek help from expert in hp shop... as i m not so good in interior prob..

if gallery button u mean , is the 2 buttons up there silver one.
then tough luck, even the keypad is nt connected to there.
establish a serial port connection via bluetooth.

if the buttons beside the joystick got problem?

most probably is the keypad spoil, nt the button.
replace keypad .

how about the camera button?
it cant take pics...not even focus too...

i've got same problems too.... is there any way to fix it? and how much roughly does it cost to get it fixed?

btw... i've tried the no.1's camdriver, in my opinion it's slightly better than withan's camdriver and comparing it's outdoor pics, it's not much difference either =)
