I am not sure if it is a taxable item, you need to check it out. Anyway, 99% of the time you can go through and not be taxed.

most of the time, nobody is taxed anyway. and even if you get caught, one can always negotiate

Me and a few other fellow forumers has brought in BD players without any problem. My case, they use no extra box or wrapping at all, just the BD player's box itself. My player arrived my doorstep a few hours after the plane landed. biggrin.gif

The rules are there, but again, it's more about luck. wink.gif
