You can use AMD GPU Clock Tool(to clock the card) and atitool(stress testing) together.
Nice oc bro, stock voltages ?  hmm.gif
*
sorry, that one not really oc =.= i mean using the CCC auto tune function, the highest freq ... just for few minutes
but the temp would jump to 85 ...

but so far i think no need oc, coz all the game i using already max setting still smooth .. haha

yeap.u just cant set it to constant speed in either CCC or rivatuner..
i prefer an auto fan  speed that kick in at a lower temp.not @ 90C nod.gif
*
so , can u do that ? pls teach me nod.gif
i mean auto fan speed when temp < 60c
fix fan speed(55%) when temp > 60c

Hmm, guys...i'm quite curious on how the Gainward 4850 GS version manage to hit idle 40c - 45c at room temperature without air-con?

Mine is 53c - 55c at stock OC and 60% fan speed using stock cooler.

Do enlighten me more about hitting 40c - 45c idle.

lower temperature coz better cooler,
it is just simple since Gainward GS using heat pipe technology whistling.gif

As quote from wikipedia
Wikipedia

A heat pipe is a heat transfer mechanism that can transport large quantities of heat with a very small difference in temperature between the hotter and colder interfaces.
Inside a heat pipe, at the hot interface a fluid turns to vapour and the gas naturally flows and condenses on the cold interface. The liquid falls or is moved by capillary action back to the hot interface to evaporate again and repeat the cycle.

Er. what's i'm trying to ask whether are you using stock cooler or after market cooler? lol

if stock fan sure cant reach < 45 degree idle (unless ur aircond is inside ur pc) sweat.gif

those < 45 at idle usually aftermarket cooler, like gainward GS, battle axe cooler

So my current Gainward HD4850 Golden Sample, it is stock cooler right? Below is the exact graphic card i have. But is it possible to reach < 45c idle ?

for GS .. VERY EASY .. some could get 38 at idle

actually stock cooler we mean usally for normal fan cooler,
GS already modified the cooler designed with higher efficiency heatpipe and special cover for better protection and air flow.
