auto -tune gives me 695/1100....it never hangs in games and temps about 80C with my sapphire HD4850 with reference cooler so i dont think theres any prob with it.......

btw...just asking...has anyone here crossfired a 1gb HD4850 with a 512MB one? im planning to get a new gainward HD4850 GS 1GB for my current sapphire HD4850 512mb....wonder if anything would happen..like unable to support or the 1GB ram will downgrade to 512mb

But I still very curious about my gpu core/memory clock shown on both the CCC and GPU-Z.
Any idea?
you can go refer to the sensors tab in the GPUz...it should show what clocks your GPU is running tongue.gif

btw..i guess i know why HD4850 reference cooler is rather hot already

just yesterday... i changed to zalman vf900 CU...but it didnt come with mosfet Heatsinks ..so i decided to saw the end of my old ref cooler to make one..
however to my surprise..as i saw through the copper...i noticed that its not full copper..but instead...aluminium coated in copper doh.gif

well...i dont think any mods can actually really help on the reference cooler...i did remove the red cover...cut the blue wire...change thermal paste....etc etc...but not getting such good results as well...still loading at 80C..and very noisy too

however...you should consider the zalman VF-900 (im currently using)
its about RM150...and not that big...tho it takes up almost dual slot...

i think this is one of the best solution for PPL who wanna crossfire

@700mhz/1100mhz....im getting 60@load on this zalman

its 690 or 790?...im amazed if you can actually reach there without touching the voltage tho..

maybe thats your monitor's issue...maybe it cannot handle low ress? XD
try putting in on others and see...i assume youre using benq e2200

Wouldn't the max be 700MHz,or did you crack a few bios ribs to set the limit higher(it's possible)?

thats what im wondering as well...most of the autotune results i see is 690/1100 on newer cards with aftermarket coolers

and if im not mistaken..if you moded the bios...your overdrive will be ineffective...else it will revert back to 700mhz
