That is for reference card design.

To do the voltmod the most crucial thing is the DMM, why not check the stock voltage yourself ?

Since after the mod the volts would increase and you need to monitor them in order to avoid any mishap like overvolting it too much and risk frying it.

Try using the Catalyst Control Center's function Overdrive and OC from there. Any problems please share with us here. smile.gif

found the stock voltage for core... but not for mem haha... i dun even noe which part of the card to monitor using voltmeter haihhhhhhh my card is totally different than reference card @@

my card managed 750mhz without vmod and bios tweaking @ 1.046v, but wanna go 800 core, even when i put 1.25v with bios tweaking, still got artifacts T_T... guess really need to do pencil mod haha
*
The page that i gave you show the measuring points smile.gif

Bios vmod tops out at 1.2v and u need to put 1.158v at the bios so that it would detect and use 1.2v

I dun blame anybody bcoz its my own choice to play around  tongue.gif

anyway, everyone's a noobie from start

I dun wanna b a noobie forever dats y i opted to try.....found out this winflash does hav some probs to work with Palit Sonic hd4850, other boards i dunno la, but from the infos i read, works well with most reference boards

FYI, my motherboard has no 2x PCIE or onboard, so I borrowed a PCI vga card from a Pentium classic.....re flash ori bios with ATIflash (dos), startup using USB stick go into DOS, flash it with command 'atiflash -p 0 newbios.bin'

i fixed the prob with zero cost and my sonic hd4850 now back to normal...

in case anybody needs help, PM me, i'll try my best to help  cool2.gif

There, your card is not a reference version in the first place. That's the thing that caused all the problems smile.gif
