First time booking online. Travelling to UK in mid July but see the price keep changing day by day. I wonder any specific day of the week can I get a better deal. Anyway, taking MAS.

Airlines seat price changing everyday due to seat left and fuel price and currency exchange rate. nutricia liked this post

I personally don't advise MAS. Recently bought return flights, rescheduled both my flights without giving me the option to cancel or reschedule and made me do a transit. Was pissed off big time. Anyway, airline flight tickets are hard to predict. I've never been able to establish when the prices would change. I guess it fluctuates, but the prices increase as the number of tickets left decreases. I usually would advise people to buy early, but during this covid-period, I found out that it's a highly unpredictable market as the flight could be rescheduled without early notice. So I advise that you go for the expensive option that allows unlimited rescheduling and refund without a fee (last I checked, last month, only cost slightly more). That being said, don't buy insurance until you check in - insurance cannot be refunded. nutricia liked this post

QUOTE(digitalz @ Feb 18 2020, 02:59 PM) I've never used UBER from/to airports. Main reason: The taxi drivers can wait inside the airport for you. Not Uber drivers. Uber from airport is quite convenient. Just need to push ur trolley/a to short stay car park 3 n go to level 3 Row A. There is wifi still where u can book on the spot n it will come shortly. Much cheaper than the airport cabs. I'd just book a car with the company and get a quote for it. You can choose the number of people/luggage and they will arrange the best ride/fare for you. Otherwise take heathrow express it’s $25-26 point one way to paddington station. |

QUOTE(vape_mod_pod @ Sep 22 2022, 09:34 AM) Yes, but you will need to apply for international driving license (IDP) and you can use it for up to 6 months as a tourist.I don't advise renting a car if just travelling around London mainly. But if you are going to Cotswolds or Cornwall, then yes renting a car might be the better option Keep in mind that the driving rules in UK is different, especially when it comes to roundabout, right turn at traffic lights, and pedestrians so make sure you learn those if you intend to drive in UK vape_mod_pod liked this post

Other than these, driving in UK is easy . I drove all the way from london to Scotland . This post has been edited by tpleong: Dec 9 2022, 11:41 AM |
