I am using Hotlink prepaid.
I got my iPhone 3 days ago. Everything working fine, sms and call. but just now suddenly cannot call out. only can sms. Anybody know wat happen? is it issue related to sim card slot? I try my sim card on my old phone(w550), can call out.
Any idea?

omg. mean it will happens always? or once in a while?
if i change to postpaid. same problem, since will change a new sim.

i do nothing, just normal usage, sms with my family lo.
and i think i got uninstall the openSSH.

Giv maxis a call. It happened to me once where my whole area cant call in and out also. Once I get out of my area everything back to normal.

And yea STFU, there is nothing common about that.

guys, as i stated, i can call with my old phone. And i read the method turning caller ID on, it can call out.
i tested with switch on and off the option.
it really fail when i turn off.. aiks..
b4 this, it does not happen..
if next time cannot called out again, i need to turn it off again?

will it happen again and i need to turn the show caller id off again?
cause as far as my problem is, i facing no problem b4 this with default option.
then suddenly just now CANNOT call out, but CAN receive call and sms.
then i google. find out that turning the show caller id on method,
i tried, and it works.
so i really wonder if it happen again, will i need to turn it off to make it works?

this happen to me bef wen i used samsung g800.
n i thought my hp was spoilt. but it wasnt.
n i tried n figure out u cant use the show caller id option, u can turn it off..
because u didnt apply wit ur operator, maxis. this is a service provided by maxis which charge u rm5 a month to hide ur caller id wen make call...
so no worry!

erm.. is it mean i probably will not meet the cannot call out issue when i turn it on now?

This just happen to my friend iPhone when I turn off the "edge" in the BossPref, can't make calls but can sms or receiving calls. Google and found the same solution, turn on the caller id, so I don't think there's gonna be any problem as long the caller ID is "on".

spot on. i was just about to reply that. that method seems to be the best solution for this problem.

that weird, seriously.. i dont pay any attention to my caller id.. in fact, i just leave it at default setup, it shall be OFF. guess? i never encounter this kind of pr0b & yes, im also using maxis.

I never bother bout caller id where its turned off by default and i can even make call to the moon, i think (if there got service) heheheee...
