The hamster is just being itself. You can't expect it to be a genius right? Otherwise they might rule the earth and make us their slave by running in the hamster wheel! hehehe!

Anyhow if there is not 3rd opinion, I would suggest you choose the second one.

If possible, just be strict with her or ur friend. It's your belongings and they should be responsible to ATLEAST repay you back or do something with the cage. Think of something to warn them that they are scared enough to do something about it.

But don;t kill or harm the hamster that's all! If not... you might as well give it to me!
