thats not a house rat..should be the rice rat..actually she was pregnant..the trap shock her and gave birth the 1st baby out..

i did my bachelor thesis on rats..its either the common black rat or the rice rat..the fur looks orangish..it depends on the numbers of nipples and length of hind legs..anyway.macro works fine there.i use to take macro shots on rats too..but they move alot..blurish scene.. |
