Ever since I upgraded my HDX900 to the latest firmware my networking function seems to screw up vmad.gif Prior to the firmware upgrade the NMT can obtain DHCP from my router. Now the NMT could only get some funny IP which is not on the network range.

Wondering if this was caused by the latest firmware which might have some wireless networking driver in it???

Latest firmware is 50-17-080808-15-HDD-402-000. I haven't had a problem as you describe, I'm using a wired network.

I am using Buffalo router running on repeater wireless bridge mode. In case you wonder the Buffalo is working well with pc and Dreambox.

hi guys, need help here.
AFAIK, HDX1000 didnt have fan inside, they only used heatsink to transfer the heat.
so what is the recommended brand to put hdd inside?  sad.gif
i afraid fast spinning hdd will burn the unit and all my buyer send to RMA>..lol

im thinking WD Green seems like a good choice hmm.gif

Green HDD is fine. I have got one in my HDX900. But other brands are just fine.
