Expensive doesnt mean better. There is a guide on how to check the quality of the optical cable. I cant pin u the web coz on mobile now. Try to google it. Or u can go those reputable audio shop n see if they willing to tell u. I got mine around 1.5meter for around rm100 n no brand but quality stuff.

Hm rm100 i think is normal la. There r more expensive than that.
