i got another question. i din cage him up he is free to roam around my house. one thing very funny about him is he will make noise even if he is walking playing whatever he do he sure make noise.

i try to keep him company and play wit him but do not seem to work . he is disturbing my sleep too, have to wake up in the middle of night to comfort him.
he is quite protective he dun like other kitten too. he will hiss at them when near them

I normally brush it with my bare hand and water. Ok ka? The toothpaste macam gila harga. Or better if use toothbrush + water?

60 is not bad..my vet charged me 120 for the op..hihi..n bout the scar, dont worry, it will eventually fade away..

that's the biggest sign of stress, mood swing, etc.

they don't feel comfortable at all. like you said, he dont like other kitten too.

all my cats, when ever i take one, and bring to my room, that cat will make noise like calling for other cat.

why? because he/she get used to "many cats" in the house, then suddenly become alone in my room, he become stress. but when i bring other cats to my room, he's/she's ok already.

if your kitten used is stray kitten, he/she might having stress with being indoor. you need to give more time for him/her to settle down and become indoor kitten and cat.

4 days is too short you need more than that to make them get use with the environment, the house, you, and your housemate.

we never know the genetic background. if he is from a very vocal type of genetic then you have to get used with this ehehehe.

the protective kind of cat is also genetic - if it is serious genetic behavior - it can't be cure, but some may happen because of stress and later they become ok.

here's a tip you might want to try...

Find a friend that have kitten almost the same size and age. Bring that kitten to your house, tell that person/friend you borrow for like 1 week or more

why that long? because all cat need atleast 4 days to get to know each other. most cats don't shake hand and smile on first meeting, they will hiss and angry - trying to tell that new friend that they are more powerful.

and see how thing goes. it may be annoying on first 1 week. but don't worry kitten can be friend faster than adult

if you kitten suddenly become ok while having another kitten in the house play with him, that's mean all this while he need friend.

he make noise now because you only keep him for 4 days, you need more time to make him used to the surrounding and become one of human pet.

sure can lah.. i use kain + air only... very hard to get a cat that love toothbrush and toothpaste some more that mouth and lips is part of the sensitive area. nak buka mulut kucing pun susah kan.

haihz.. my fat bailey is okay, coz he is bigger size n fat, so he cant jump really high and a lot of palce he cant go it like the grill coz it has some pattern on it then the female is so slim n small size....

i forgot the price, but about rm40-50 for 10 ft. the net itself is quite thick. you can get cheaper on but won't be that thick. there's 2 color, black and green. i used the black one.

if got white, i will go for white

yea u may need to have a curtain, so your house still look nice, else it will look like bird cage (or maybe like taman burung).

you can use "dawai" to fix it on the grill.. depends on how your grill look like lah. if the window use woods as frame, u can just need nails and hammer.

my window there have a steel grills.. so i can put the net on grill.. how big is the hole ar? coz even if like1" or 2" my cat still cant pass thru gua, the female one, the male fat bailey no nid to say, coz he is heavy n fat and big size.. LOL... can use cable tie to fix it to the grill? dawai kinda harsh for me to fix, dun wanna hurt my finger

yea... now i m using the plain white roman blinds... turn kinda dirty edi, so thinking to chance to curtain.. keke, i dun wnat my apt look like taman burung...

mine very small hole on the netting, square size about 0.5cm x 0.5cm, can also get the 1cm x 1cm...

im not using the mosquitoes netting. that one too soft and too small.. i also need air to go into my cats room.

infront the netting, i put "rotan" blind.. cheap one from the supermarket ehehe to make it look nicer... but living room i use curtin get from kamdar, quite cheap too

i got problem with my kitten lah.
yesterday he climb the staircase. im really scared, wut if nobody know he climb the staircase want go to my room. wut should i do? i scared he will fall down. should i use netting also?

errrkk staircase? where is that staircase heading too? the window? if window you can put netting if it is open all the time. if other place, errkk thing twice, you might not want your house is fully attach with netting ehehehe.

how high is the staircase to the group?

It's actually heading to the second floor, my house is a double storey.
On the handle, there're some gap which can look down to the living room (on lower floor). I'm afraid he may jump down from there, so it's kindda like jump from 2nd floor to the ground. He's already like spiderman jumping from sofa to sofa, really pening kepala now.

hello all cat lovers.. i have questions here.. i have two cats. 1 male n 1 female.. the female just gave birth earlier this month.. last sunday, i brought another female cat which happens to be the sister of my 2 cats (they are actually 4 siblings but i took 2 of them to my house). the one i just brought to my house is currently pregnant, so my mom asked me to take care of her since no one able to look after her at my family's house. so now i have 3 cats and 3 kittens in my house. at first i thought the new cat will have problem adapting in my house n also with the other 2 cats in this house.. but today i found another thing.. the new cat thinks that the 3 kittens are her kittens wanted to be with them all the time.. i kept my kittens in a box n when their mother went out, the new cat will go in n stay in there.. if i remove her from the box, she insist to get in the box.. she's treating the kittens as her kitten.. is it going to be problem with it? i dont want the cats to fight over the kittens or harm the kittens.. the mother is really protective n im afraid she will take the kittens away.. how do i deal wif this?

cats very good in balancing them self. they are a good jumper too. but not all are successful jump. some may come to accident while landing. normally happen at the short jump... if it is higher place, possibility to get perfect landing, because they have the time to balance their body to the right position.

i think, for sure the house will look bad with your put netting on the staircase all the way to 2nd floor. am i right?

You might not want the pregnant cat to nursing other cat's kitten. she need to keep the milk plus all nutrition in her body for her future kitten. if she give it all to the kitten now, what's going to happen to her own kitten? she absolutely will lake of the nutrition and milk for her own kitten.

a mother will lick her kitten to give them her own smell.. just like protection of her kitten. if other cats come and lick that kitten, the mother for sure won't feel comfortable at this time. the worst part, some mother will ignore their kitten if other cats coming towards her family.

that is the reason why people say, when you you female cat with new kitten - separate them from other cats.

big cage may help to separate them, or separate using room.

at this time you may not want to stress both female. you dont want to make the mother to stress out when coming back and see other cat disturb her kitten and make that kitten smell like other cat. you dont want that pregnant to stress out when you suddenly remove her from that kitten - else she though you will be like separating her from her kitten - this is dangerous to her pregnancy.

so you need to do this slowly, like separate them slowly.

if i were you, i won't let other cats to come near by my kitten, afraid other disease from other cat get into that fresh born kitten. i may want to put that kitten in the room, and close the door. if the mother want to go out from the room, let her to roam outside for awhile, then bring back to the room.
