Hi LYN member,
I just found out that my Altis's headlmap got some water inside already.
Therefore with this reason, I would like to change the Headlamp to Eagle Eye.
I just asked one shop from Penang and they are selling rm ~rm800++.

Is there anyone and confirm that is Eagle Eye legal? I worry later i install then kena police summons.

Angel eyes are not illegal. I've mine with projector lamp. Police so far kata jangan to my HID only, never to my angel eye ring.

if tht, i think its legal, or if u wan to b safe, juz dun turn on the ccfl when u bump into the roadblock

Should be legal as long as no HID installed, and not blinding other road users.

But if u read back the rules, it is state as Pengubahsuaian Lampu Hadapan. So means any of mod for headlamp is illegal. Sticker, smoked, angel eyes is modded. But i think they only care for white bulb and HID.

for me, the ccfl is add on, not mod...

Correct. They still can summoned you under 'Pengubahsuaian Lampu Hadapan'. But heck, even changing sportrim also they can summoned under 'mengubahsuai kenderaan' if they want to.

bro eagle eyes is the brand from TAIWAN only Approve Shop wil selll OR they will get the third party which means china made .

When you switch on small lamp, CCFL will on. It's integrated to lamp.
I don't understand how not to on CCFL.

imitation for eagle eyes brand is OMP one,china make,outlook totally same wit eagleeyes brand. just then ring diff

u can have it separate switch.. as for mine, i integrate it with my fog lights..
so when i switch on my lamp, it wont switch on unless i on the fog lights too

should be legal if u are not running on HID or any white bulb because i see all the cars now are fitted with Eagle Eyes so should be no worrys

Legal or not is not up to us to say want la...They can still summon you if they want because it's still classified as modifications to your stock headlamp... Yes, BMW got angel eyes but it's definitely legal because that's their OEM headlamps...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Eagle Eye headlamps.
Since the stock Eagle Eye headlamps come withs the ordinary Halogen bulb.
The problem is people usually will change the stock halogen into HID and this is where the problem lies at.

Oic....which means that if i install Eagle Eye headlamps should be fine.
I am not interested with HID, however i found it too bright which usually makes my eyes suffering.

I REPEAT:
Angel eye rings are NOT illegal.

eagle eyes cannot pass JPJ inspection 1...even sports rims size only allow bigger than original size 1"...bonnet cannot spray black color...

i got 1 fren kena JPJ inspection letter....tat's wat the runner tell him and ask him to take those things out b4 going for jpj inspection

Yup...i will keep the original headlamp although got water inside. In case i want to sell my car or wanna send my car to puspakom, i still got it with me.

Retrofitting the headlamps IMO will attract police to stop you over. Like it or not, there are like a million reasons for them to summon you. Well I do agree it will be wise to fit a switch to enable both dim light or CCFL rings to lit up independently to reduce the risk.

I decide to change....dun care the police....haha...
Till one day if they block me, then i will change back....

Clear the water so that it won't short circuit your wires and bulbs.
