Didn't I tell you to try tweaking the PCI-E frequency before? tongue.gif whistling.gif

There is no explanation of why some rig need tweaking of the PCI-E frequency to be stable..... As I mentioned before, some even need tweaking of the PCI-E voltages...

There are even reports saying that some people need to tweak there southbridge settings to get their rig stable!!! rclxub.gif

As far as I know, it is reported that the PCI-E frequency is tied to the PCI slot, HDD and other on-board chips e.g. on-board audio and on-board LAN..... If you go too high, you run the risk of damage to those components.....

Some recommend not to go higher than 112mhz-120mhz......

Remember that tweaking the PCI-E frequency is usually for stability, not to increase the performance of your GC.... wink.gif

P/S : The best way is NOT to touch the PCI-E if you can help it....
