I purchased mine from ACE not long ago.. .a week after that i start facing issue with date time, they ps3 after rebooted can't remember the date time and have to reset again. sigh.

i don't know what causes this or is it issue with ACE but then.. i don't plan to bring it back for them to fix. i plan to bring back singapore for warranty.

i bougth mine from ACE.. and the date time reset happening only a week after.. I can't be sure if its a refurbished unit because i can successfully register the warraty for one year in the sony website.

However i do feel regret that i should have asked my friend to buy a new unit from the singapore when he was there..

i still don't trust the locals much.

for my case on the date time resets.. i plan to send it to singapore for warranty check, courier to my friend who stay in singapore.. then i will be able to tell if it is a refurbished or not..

I just bought a PS3 from ACE april and its in good shape if you are interested.

I have to be honest with you on this. My PS3 has no issues but only got a slight irritation which the PS3 date time might need to set again on occasional reboot. other than that everything works find.

I can sell you at negotiable cheaper price because i lazy to send it back to fix and maybe use the money to get the limited edition for myself later on. The box , receipts and manuals are all brand new 90% good quality and the only game i ever play on the machine so far is MGS4. I bought from ACE.

The best thing is, i have registered the warranty and it the warranty works until April 2009.

i need to be really honest with this. sharing my experience as i just bought a PS3 from ACE this early June.

don't mean to join in the war on wether ACE is good or bad but i would have to say that the reason i bought from them is because i thought they are reliable but .. after i bought the ps3 for 2 weeks later, i got the problem with it. everytime i restart the ps3, it cannot save the system's date time, and i have to set it everytime i start my console.

this never happen to any of my friends who get their ps3 from other shops.. or either just my luck. Called the shop owner and he said never seen this issue before.

Somehow after reading all the reports on ACE in this thread.. i do feel being cheated by that shop.

Just wanna put a word caution for the rest of guys here. especially those in penang.

on top of that ACE usually sell their consoles way more expensive than the rate other shops is selling. So.. i regretted getting from them.

i have soul calibur 4 from playstation launch, opened it, played once and keep back in shelf. Not my type.

I second you on that. I find not only him but some fellows in his store's attitude unacceptable. Especially when you are just browsing. They would serve you better only when you "confirm" an order with them.

Their prices are usually higher than most shops in penang. Reason is also because there are still people buying from him even though he raised his price. so that would makes them feel arrogant. I blacklisted that shop due to a bad previous experience. Anyway.... u guys decide.. to either stay clear or buy from them.

where in penang are you getting your SF4 copies?? and which place could offer best price? *please skip ace though.. they are sellling mighty expensive.
