I wouldn't compare it to MGS4. MGS4, to me, felt like a movie that also let you control a portion of it. I don't mean that in a bad way, but MGS4 made it very clear that there was a lot of painstaking detail and care that was added into the cutscenes. Valkyria's cutscenes are more split between actual cutscenes, and talking portrait boxes similar (yet better done) than the skits in the Tales games.

The story is better than average for a jRPG game (that is to say, it's still rife with cliches, but they are implemented well enough that you don't roll your eyes about them), and even though the game starts off a bit slow the story really picks up after a few chapters. As much as I am enjoying the story (and I'm enjoying it a lot), the real meat of the game is in the gameplay. The gameplay is phenomenal. It's part turn-based strategy and part 3rd person shooter. If you can ignore the broken rating system, the battles actually push you to employ real strategy to make it through. The diversity between units is also very well done, and I feel like I really have to depend on a spread of different classes to get through different situations. It's stupid, but you also develop a sort of bond with the characters you use the most (and it's amazing how much personality they can convey to you through a paragraph of backstory, voice acting during their turns, and the personality perks they offer).

I've been looking forward to this game for a long time, but it has shelved Fallout 3 for me, and all the other games I've bought recently. I got into the R2 Beta and played the hell out of it, and was really excited to play R2, but I can honestly say that I don't have any interest in picking up any other game until I do all there is to do with Valkyria Chronicles.

Hurry up Valkyria! I can't wait to touch your beautiful enclosure with my delightful hands!

Can not believe the Sony center in Gurney plaza.
Yesterday asked the PS3 price.  They gave me RM1899, with a game, then asked me to buy one DS3 controller for RM199, only free the second game.
I asked them why the price is different with Sony website, they said the price is same all the while.
The price for game also expensive. NBA 2k9 for RM219 compare to the website one is RM189. 
Better get from Ah Tatt for RM180

U bring up a good point. Here are my thoughts:

1. Safety

I'm not so sure about PosLaju not being safe. I have my whole PS3 system shipped here and many games thereafter. Luckily there was no mishandling.
That's not to say that my experience is relevant to others but that's from my side anyways.

Now if we're talking about games, then the chances of mishandling is pretty slim as it's not an easy package to damage.

2. Other reasons i can think of

Other than safety as you pointed out, i sincerely believe that:
a. There's a mental barrier for dealing outstation and a fear of the unknowns. Normally this is for first time buyers.
b. I think a lot of people use credit cards to purchase.

Anyways, i wish i could convince him to open a shop here. 
But i highly doubt it for the near future. 

Needs some help. How to enter a blank space character into the text input box? I thought space is mapped onto triangle button by default, but why i can't find it from the on-screen keyboard. Now i have to use the under score instead of space character for my name.

Not the user account but the user name. I have the shop keeper created one for my son with space between them (Tan XXX XXX), but i couldn't do it at home. Funny.
