Hi fellow gamers,

(It's Saturday today and I was looking forward to do collect more heroic badges but this problem just happened right about 8.40am.)

Over the past few 2-3 months, I started to experience this weird high latency issue halfway during playing the game.
Usually happens maybe once in 2 weeks, once a week, etc. Sometimes starts in the morning, sometimes at night.
Lasted anyway from 3-5hrs.

As soon as my WoW latency shoots up to 2-3k and wont come down, I do a ping to 202.188.0.133 and find that the
reply time is like 1400ms+. (normal steady connection i get is 40-50ms).

Every time I called up Streamyx help desk, they will just reset the port and give me a report number. After I reboot my
pc and modem, I still get the same results. So waited for few hours or go to sleep.

Am using a DLink-500T modem with an Artnet 8 Port Switch and only 2 computers connected. Most of the times is just my gaming computer on.

So I was wondering if any of you have experienced the same problem I am facing and would like to share ideas to solve
this problem.

You can post here or sms me at O12-8885161 and I will call you back asap to get the details to get around this thing.

Thanks to everyone who reads.

no point in pinging the dns after you have established a connection to the server ... its just to resolve urls only ...

Switch from my desktop to my laptop. Surprisingly, laptop behaves a hell lot better.
