It's gone back to 8bit style NES graphics. You play with the Wii Remote held sideways like an NES controller. It's also confirmed to not have any motion or pointer controls.

They have to start at 1 point but they don't stay there for long.

let's hope they bring back the legendary difficulty during the 8 bit era too!

legendary difficult = vomit blood, joypad throwing, and console smashing difficult

megaman 1 is devilishly hard la, i played the remake (powered up) and dare not attempt the normal mode upon beating the easy mode.

yes i'm sure..i beat it when i was in standard 6 in 1989^_^

U should begin ur game by beating bomb man, guts man, cut man, elecman, ice man and lastly fireman...then it'll be easy.

If u r afraid of falling off in gutsman n iceman or even the wily first stage, u should get the bridge power up (or what they call it) using elecman's power at his stage (during a replay)

final stage (the one with wily machine right?) u can use cut man first and then fire man (after the outer shell hv broken) happy.gif (fireman u can use fire surge)...or is it the other way around...forget lah.

the first was hard because we have no password system and hv to play all the way...i remembered getting really pissed of when suddenly we got black out when i was at the final stage happy.gif

actually i got hooked up on megaman when i saw my friend played megaman 2...the sound of metalman's saw was really enticing biggrin.gif. Besides that, the song to most of the stage was considered great at that time.

the normal stages are easy, and end of stage bosses are easy also
you just need to have strategy on which boss to beat first, and use that weapon against the other bosses.

the hard part is during the Wily stage, difficulty x 10, especially some of the mid bosses are damn hard to beat!
but luckily most of the time you still can harvest for refill after the boss fight.

When you gotten to the last part of Wily stage, that's where the super hard difficulty started. You'll have to fight all of the stage bosses one by one again, and there's no way you can harvest for health and power refill in that part, except the "loot" the bosses drop after you beat them.

So when you have finally beaten all of the stage boss, that's when the uber hard difficulty starts. you'll have to fight Wily in his many forms, with limited weapons and most of the time, without full health. doh.gif

I only manage to beat the past megaman/rockman series using the emulator via save/load cheat doh.gif

When younger, i used to play Megaman with those password system for a while. Then i played 8 and couldn't finish it.

I remember reading the comics on how to get pass the stages. A walkthrough, in the form of a comic. It was awesome.

yeah, megaman 1 is the hardest among all
no save game, no password system
and no extra health tank reserve! doh.gif

one mistake during the final boss fight, and there you go, start all over again doh.gif

megaman 1 is the hardest series for megaman because of the damn cheap one eye boss which can dismantle his body into part by part and move to the other side..anyway after finish this boss then is easy already.... also megaman 2 hardest boss is the flying dragon which u need to jump platform by platform to kill it damn annoying....
